Job Description:
- Use your experience in program and project management while leveraging agile principles.
- Develop program management artifacts as needed (project charters, program/project plans, risk management plans, communication plans, business case analysis, and concept of operations).
- Maintain responsibility and establish/maintain standards for these work products.
- Lead and facilitate client meetings and exercises (requirement gathering, prioritization sessions, etc.).
- Manage client delivery expectations and provide situational awareness, bi-directional status, feedback, and project updates to both the customer and the project teams.
- Identify high value needs and develop resource plans on how to implement a solution.
- Assist managing required efforts and resources for successful project implementation and completion.
- Leverage Microsoft and Atlassian solutions (Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, etc.) to manage projects.
- Support the development of briefings, agendas, and other general documentation support as directed, including training material.
- Establish and monitor schedules; identify resource needs and assign individual responsibilities.
- Identify, analyze, and track risks, communicating statuses; escalate concerns when needed.
- Identify and coordinate cross-team dependencies and collaboration.
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, develop and deepen long-lasting client relationships.
- Build a knowledge base of each client's business, systems, and objectives.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years' managing Agile teams and projects from inception to deployment.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Project Management or Agile certifications (PMP / ACP / CSM / SAFe / CISM).
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years' experience working with a Federal Customer.
- Experience in managing client requirements and small teams and strong client relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and business presentation skills.
- Familiarity with government programs and policy/procedures.
- Strong client interfacing skills, a positive attitude, high self-motivation, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Active DHS clearance is a plus.
