Business Analyst Manager, Client Tax Operations

Join the Client Tax Operations Team and lead a strategic team of Business Analysts focused on optimizing business success.
As a Business Analyst Manager, you will lead a team of business analysts within Client Tax Operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the analysis, design, and implementation of complex business solutions across client tax operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, exceptional analytical expertise, and a deep understanding of tax operations within the financial services industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the analysis, design, and implementation of multiple complex business solutions simultaneously, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured, documented, and translated into functional specifications
- Provide strategic direction and Leadership by leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of business analysts
- Align business analysis objectives with the overall goals of client tax operations and the broader organization
- Lead transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing client satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and innovation within Client Tax Operations
- Collaborate with technology teams to leverage data analytics, LLM, AI, and other advanced tools to drive transformation
- Identify and manage business risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing robust risk management practices to mitigate potential issues
- Monitor and report on business analysis progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery
- Act as a primary point of contact for all business analysis-related matters
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to standards and best practices
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis within the financial services industry, with a focus on tax operations
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex business solutions
- Strong understanding of tax operations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- MBA or advanced degree
