Overview:

We are seeking a Broker Placement Specialist - Small Business to join our growing team who can deliver outstanding customer service Are you interested in helping a range of clients through issues that vary from relatively simple to moderately complex?

We are looking for people who are passionate about building relationships with clients, will collaborate with the sales team to achieve goals, constantly seek improvement, and will demonstrate the value Gallagher can provide.

Responsibilities:
  • Markets small business customer business prospects
  • Provides initial submission review and feedback to producers/service personnel. 
  • Ensures thorough evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace independently.
  • Receives requests for quotations primarily from producers but may also receive from service personnel.
  • Identifies and analyzes client exposures to recommend.
  • Identifies appropriate carriers, initiates quote process through online carrier platforms and/or sends manual submissions as well as, negotiates favorable quotes and prepares recommendations.  
  • The position may be a work leader with responsibilities for assigning, prioritizing, and monitoring work of less senior Specialists. 
  • Attend carrier pipeline, product meetings and internal sales meetings and weekly marketing team huddle meetings as required. 
  • Carrier facing position on pipeline calls.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years related experience required. Insurance licensing required.

 

Preferred:

  • Professional designation preferred, such as CRIS, CIC, ARM, CPCU, MLIS or other.

 

Behaviors:
