The Senior Marketing Specialist plays a key role in all facets of the pursuit process as well as various marketing activities. In this role, you will be responsible for writing, editing, and preparing pursuit materials, research, presentations, marketing plans, and award submissions. In addition, you will focus on marketing efforts to support the overall department goals including campaign development, messaging, content, external communications, graphic design, and production of marketing materials.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the marketing lead on deliverables for proposals and interviews using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Lead and implement marketing plans for dedicated market sectors including strategies to drive awareness (including events, e-communication, social media, etc).
  • Design or partner with other designers to create a variety of digital and print materials.
  • Produce deliverables in support of ongoing strategic marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other Marketing professionals, Business Development leaders, and managers from other internal departments.
  • Research, organize, and write materials including case studies and award submissions.
  • Develop best practices and processes related to specific market sectors.
  • Monitor market sector information and news.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Skillful ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail within a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a creative and competent writer and editor who can produce clear, concise, and convincing marketing collateral
  • Expert proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite is required
  • Previous demonstrated technical writing experience, including writing and editing for proposals

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, public relations or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 4-5 years experience with RFI's and proposals
  • Experience supporting engineering, construction, and architecture, are beneficial
  • Experience in layout and/or advanced graphic design is desired but not required
