Warehouse/ Dock Supervisor

Our Omaha, NE Terminal is immediately hiring a Full-time Warehouse Supervisor.

Job Description:

  • Starting at $60,000 a year

  • Shift is Monday through Friday (shift length will vary depending on work load)

  • Loading and unloading of trailers using proper equipment - dolly, forklift, etc.

  • Load planning

  • "Protecting" of freight to avoid damage

  • Abiding by and enforcing all company safety policies

  • Accurate reporting of all paperwork, including bills of lading and manifests

  • Takes direction from terminal manager

  • Supervises unloading/loading freight, safety procedures, proper paperwork handling, etc.

  • Direct the handling of freight from the time it is received, to the time it leaves, and ensure that it is in the right place at the right time.

  • Communicate clearly with other dock workers and drivers, employees at other terminals and with customers who come to pick up their freight.

  • Dispatches city pick ups

  • Inform Terminal Manager in daily meeting of any incidents or issues.

  • Handle OSD paperwork

  • Contact customers via phone as needed

  • Familiar with HAZMAT regulations, OSHA regulations and other regulatory bodies
