As a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the cybersecurity organization, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications and platform products. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of cybersecurity challenges that span multiple technology domains.
Job responsibilities

  • Work with customers, partners to identify and address security issues and threats.
  • Collaborate with the stakeholders to guide the direction of platform security and develop a long-term hardware security roadmap for our products
  • Design and develop security controls and mechanisms specifically tailored to protect physical hardware severs from firmware attacks.
  • Detailed attack modeling and definition of security mechanisms in hardware, firmware, protocols, etc.
  • Advising the teams on design, implementation and test of hardware/software security mechanisms
  • Root cause analysis of security defects and vulnerabilities
  • Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive continuous improvement and assess cybersecurity design and technical credentials for use in existing systems and architecture.
  • Lead communities of practice to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge cybersecurity technologies.
  • Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on cybersecurity architecture concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
  • Advanced in one or more programming languages (Python, Java)
  • Efficient security background, ideally experience in embedded security
  • Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Experience in security threat modelling and penetration testing
  • Proficient in security mitigations against physical attacks including fault injection and side channel attacks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Offensive Security - OSCP, OSCE
  • SANS Digital Forensic
