We are a passionate and dynamic team full of car and automotive industry enthusiasts looking for a Product Designer to join our growing Product/ Engineering team.

About You:
You are a mid-career stage, driven Designer, in search of a team with a bias to action. You are comfortable making educated decisions in ambiguity, shipping quickly, and constantly iterating. You enjoy designing products for low-tech users, and have a UX before UI approach to designing. You work well in a team, take and give candid feedback, and hate unnecessary meetings. Lastly, but potentially most importantly, you are excited by the idea of being a part of a high growth software startup that is bettering the lives of small businesses all over the country.

** Bonus: Experience or affinity for the automotive industry is a plus but not required.

You will, within Days:

Deliver user experiences and designs that translate our platform's capabilities into understandable, impactful, and intuitive end-user experiences. Work directly with auto repair shop owners and staff to understand their challenges and design solutions that meet their needs. We need someone with high empathy who is excited to work side-by-side with our customers to solve critical problems. Collaborate with the Engineering and Product Team leaders to understand where we are, where we have been, and where we are going.

Within Weeks:

Lead the design process for tasks from ideation to execution, ensuring that our products are user-centric and aligned with business goals. Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate on design solutions and ensure they are effective and user-friendly. Work directly with developers to bring your designs to life. Lead customer calls to gather feedback and refine design features. Learn the auto repair industry and work towards an intimate knowledge of a complex blue-collar domain and user type.

Within Months:

Own the design strategy and execution for greenfield projects, ensuring consistency and excellence across all products. Maintain and Improve our design system, ensuring that as the product expands, we stay true to our roots and goals. Be the go-to design resource, company-wide. Manage brand design, trade-show booths, social and our marketing website, delegating to design contractors when necessary.
