The School of Music at Boston University’s College of Fine Arts seeks to hire an experienced conductor, teacher and performer as an assistant professor and conductor for the Boston University Wind Ensemble. An appointment is sought to begin July 1, 2025.

The Boston University School of Music was the first institution in the United States to grant a degree in music. Today, the School of Music trains musicians, educators, composers, and scholars in strong undergraduate and graduate programs. Each year the School of Music presents hundreds of public concerts, recitals, operas, and other performances, as part of the greater resources and vibrant scholarly community of Boston University as a whole, and the wider intellectual and musical offerings of the Boston metropolitan area.
