Our Software Engineering (R&D) department is looking for a DevOps Engineer critical in ensuring the integration, maintenance, and management of our internal applications, tools and builds in our Diagnostics division. In this hands-on software role, the individual will work on troubleshooting build pipeline issues and ensuring the promotion of build artifacts to engineering verification, validation, and release of the software deliverables included in highly complex medical devices/instrumentation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage promotional build pipelines for verification and validation efforts across multiple software development projects and platforms. Troubleshoot/update continuous integration build pipelines used for software integration and promotion. Monitor, analyze, and report on active continuous integration pipelines. Monitor and report on active resources and environments.            Collaborate with development, test, document control, and program management teams for processing software builds. Gather feedback from the relative teams and management regarding the system software integration process or any general DevOps tooling issues and report findings. Support processing engineering change requests/orders and deploying software artifacts.   

Experience and Qualifications:

BS degree in Computer Science or related fields plus 0-2 years of related experience. Windows and Linux operating systems. Version Control System (VCS) experience, such as GitHub, Artifactory.

Additional Details:

Ability to write and edit technical documents such as software release notes. Demonstrates technical proficiency and creativity. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Agile project management processes.  Basic understanding of software version control, change management, and other software configuration management key practices. Basic understanding of Continuous Integration CI/Continuous Deployment CD. Strong Windows and/or Linux OS knowledge.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $71,200 to $111,300 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs, and market demand.
