Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Coach with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for optimizing the flow of epics and the value delivered by a smaller Agile Release Train (ART), and is focused on serving the needs of the train to drive performance and growth
  • Coordinating and facilitating the ART ceremonies, managing dependencies across teams in the ART, and providing visibility into the health of epic/feature delivery and the overall program increment
  • Ensures impediments to epic/feature delivery are resolved quickly and protects the teams from outside disruptions to delivery
  • Manage financials for the ART and assist with resource planning
  • Promote and coach the Agile mindset and principles, empowering individual teams to become self-managing and fulfill their cross-functional potential

Requirements:
  • Experience working in Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment
  • Extensive knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework and Kanban
  • Experience working with and coaching business partners, program managers, and product owners
  • Experience facilitating ART ceremonies (Backlog Refinement, Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART Sync or PO Sync, Scrum of Scrums), System Demos, and Retrospective
  • SAFe RTE certification
  • Experience for Agile named roles and core Lean-Agile principles
  • Excellent communicator
  • JIRA knowledge
  • Confluence knowledge
  • Experience working with teams spread across two continents
  • Experience leading one or more Agile Teams as a Scrum Master and/or Kanban Lead
  • Agile tools (Jira)

Desired Skills:
  • Prior experience as a Release Train Engineer or Coach
