Prepare and detail plans by analyzing sketches, notes and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings. Work from sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays, and isometric drawings, including digital terrain models and surfaces. Calculate quantity takeoffs and prepare cost estimates. Perform high-level design computations and earthwork calculations and prepare complete construction plans. Determine and calculate stormwater drainage areas and steep slope areas. Prepare concept layout plans. Perform grading, utility, stormwater, and soil erosion/sediment control design. Conform to the company's standard CADD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout. Work with numerous project teams to help complete projects. Coordinate details and dimensions between drawing sheets. Prepare project exhibits. Address assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency is increased. Prepare CAD files for authorized media release to external parties/agencies. Qualifications

High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associates Degree or a Certificate from a technical school, preferably in AutoCAD. 5+ years experience designing. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, associated plug-ins such as Vehicular Tracking, and other related software. Demonstrate general computer skills, knowledge, and acumen (i.e., familiarity with Microsoft Office, etc.). Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. What We Offer
