We are looking forward to having a retail booth at the state fair and are looking for Retail Sales Associates to help with the retail sales. You must have strong customer service skills Start times can vary, if needed, but ideal candidate can work five or more 8 hours shifts between August 22nd - September 2nd.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Ziegler courteously and professionally
  • Organize/maintain retail merchandise sales area
  • Stock inventory, fold and size apparel, tidy retail space
  • Assist fair attendees with questions related to retail merchandise (apparel, toys, accessories)
  • Finalize retail merchandise sales transactions
  • Handle payment processing

Qualifications:

  • Must be 16 years old
  • Must be able to work 8 hour shifts (open to morning/afternoon start times); open to number of days but ideally someone that can work 5+ shifts over 10 days
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS, preferred
  • Good math skills

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Standing (the entire shift), walking, using hands, talking, hearing.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
  • Working Conditions will be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
