What you’ll do

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Retail, Product Marketing

Location: Tempe, AZ

Expected Start Date: September 2024

Contract Duration: 6 months

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Mission of the Industry Business Units are to run, grow, connect and transform in a digital world. The Industry Business Unit Retail (IBU) enables SAP to be a leading catalyst and operator of industry networks and is the preferred destination for people who aspire to re-imagine industries.

Our role is to help retailers in the fast-moving, global marketplace to better innovate, compete, and stay relevant. This includes research on strategy, market trends, and competition.

We are looking for a motivated and curious student (f/m) who wants to support our department. You shouldn’t be afraid to take up responsibility to solve a task independently and to assume a role in an international team.

Main tasks include:

• Research Retail and Fashion trends and market dynamics to support industry wining plans and regional revenue plans
• Support market and competitive intelligence research
• Support general asset creation and GTM materials (organizing, updating, publishing, etc.) 
• Support social media engagement and connect to broader marketing campaigns
• Special focus on SAP RISE, SAP GROW, Business AI, and retail industry specific use cases

What you bring

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Experience in digital collaboration tools like MS Teams, Zoom, Mural or similar
• Ability to create creative and engaging presentations and concepts
• Experience with MS office like Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge with market research and analysis of trends
• Experience with Social Media channels

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 17-30 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
