- Function/Duties of Position The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
- The duties of this position include:The Hepatology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a faculty member credentialed and privileged as a Physician Assistant (PA) or a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- The APP is a member of the OHSU Professional Staff practicing in accordance with the respective bylaws.
- These eight sessions will be a combination of face-to-face clinics alongside an MD partner, independent follow up clinics (virtual and/or in-person) and asynchronous sessions (e-consults, referral management, billable mychart encounters, etc).
- Required Qualifications Physician Assistant: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant training program.
- Current registration with the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners as a licensed Physician Assistant.
- Nurse Practitioner:ANCC Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specific are of specialization.
- Current registration with the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners as a licensed Nurse Practitioner.
