Position Overview
Deliver excellent customer service as part of a team assisting clients with downsizing, relocation, and asset liquidation as they transition to the next phase of senior living. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful impact on our clients' lives. Adapt to new situations, solve problems effectively, work independently with minimal supervision, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
This is a part-time position typically scheduled between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This role is ideal for individuals looking to join a startup small business with a flexible work environment, opportunities to learn and grow with the business, and where your contributions truly matter. Key Responsibilities
Sort, organize, and pack the client’s valuable household goods and personal property for relocation, downsizing, or liquidation
Sort, organize, and remove unwanted personal property for disposal or donation
Resettle clients for Day One Living in new housing quarters by unpacking their valuables and personal property according to space planning design
Stage and prepare personal property identified for online & In person estate auctions
Professionally interact with clients, their families, and coworkers, displaying empathy and a passion for serving seniors
Offer emotional support and reassurance to clients throughout the relocation, downsizing, and liquidation process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
Requirements
Must be able to properly lift more than 40 - 60 pounds
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable source of transportation
Compassion and respect for clients and their families
Strong verbal communication skills and English fluency
Ability to complete tasks and work in fast paced, changing environments
Willingness to work in cluttered and/or dirty environments. We provide work gloves, aprons, etc.
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
Possess a smartphone for scheduling, time-keeping, project management apps, and general operational activities.
Compensation
Starting salary between $17 - $22.50 based on experience.
