CompensationThe base hourly rate for this position is $18.11.

Position Overview

Responsible for safely and efficiently producing metal jacketing (coils, sheets, rolls, and cut & roll) according to JM quality specification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operates the Sheet Cutter, Corrugator, Roll Machine, and Hem Machine to produce and pack the items as requested in the customer order, meeting all quality specifications.
  • Start each piece of equipment looking for any safety concerns which need to be brought to Supervisor and maintenance department.
  • Inspect sheets, rolls and cut and roll product throughout production process and communicate any issues to the supervisor.
  • Fill out production report daily for each machine.
  • Label the product according to standards and inform forklift operator to pick up product from the machine to take to the shipping department.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and/or overtime.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

    Education and/or Experience and Skills

    • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
    • 1+ years' experience in manufacturing operations
    • Forklift certification
    • Time management and organizational skills
    • Attention to detail to identify maintenance, product, or operations issues
