Minimum Qualifications
BE/BC in CCM by ABA, ABIM, ABSAcademic experience with the desire to educate medical students, residents and fellows and desire to participate in researchExperience managing patients s/p heart transplant is preferredExperience with mechanical circulatory support devices and VA ECMO is preferredOptional Medical Director (0.2 FTE) Goals/Duties:
Organizes and coordinates physician services and services provided by other healthcare providers as they relate to cardiovascular patient care.Participates in quality improvement programsLeads educational programs for healthcare providersAcademic research interestWillingness to mentor junior faculty and be a role modelWork collaboratively with other medical subspecialties
