Contract Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills & Experience Advanced skills in MS Excel (ability to work with data and create reports consistently) 3+ years of experience in either a middle office/risk role and/or equivalent experience in supporting any CIB trading products. Knowledge and understanding of securities and products including: Profit and loss attribution RMBS Pass-Through bonds pricing and risk Strong operational experience with complicated transactions New Issue Bonds Re-securitization Deal Structuring OTC activities FINRA (Trace) Must be able to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking skills Desired Skills & Experience Experience with trading applications such as Bloomberg, Calypso, and Broadridge MS Access experience Visual Basic Application (VBA) in MS Excel experience
What You Will Be Doing Directly supports trading and hedging activities across TBA contracts, treasuries, futures, options, interest rate swaps, & CDS Index swaps. Responsibilities include real time Profit & Loss generation and attribution, exception resolution, project management, position and trade maintenance, and regulatory reporting. Interact closely with multiple business partners including Trading, Sales, Finance, Technology, Compliance, Auditors, MBS Allocations, Business Managers, Project Managers, and our internal TRACE reporting group. Work with external counterparties, including government housing agencies (Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Fannie Mae), in confirming new Issue requests, exchanges, and assuring trades settle appropriately. Responsible for a variety of day-to-day tasks, as well as ad hoc requests and project work.
