Our Decision Sciences team is seeking a talented Decision Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Taking personal ownership of assigned projects.
  • Conducting analysis of data using multiple techniques and approaches -- Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive and/or Prescriptive analytics.
  • Leveraging analysis/data visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Python, SPSS, R, or other tools.
  • Develop written reports and/or dashboards that address the stated project objectives. Includes responsibility for visual design/look & feel of the reports.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, with proactive status communication to team members and internal or external clients.
  • Identify and mitigate project obstacles, with an attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Assist and support Decision Sciences Design resources with the Design phases related to results reporting, analysis and analytics.
  • Provide consultative services to other BI WORLDWIDE resources regarding data, reporting, analysis and analytics.

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Technology or other field requiring data analysis is preferred. Two-year analytics focused degree plus relevant experience and certifications is required.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting analysis in a business environment.
  • Advanced experience manipulating and exploring data.
  • Expertise in using reporting and analysis tools. Expertise with Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, R, SPSS will be favored.
  • Experience presenting analysis results/reports to business owners, both internal and external.
  • Robust curiosity and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated skills with multiple analytic techniques/methods and processes.
  • Experience managing analysis projects through the complete analysis lifecycle.
  • Process oriented, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Extraordinary desire to learn.
  • Experience with statistical analysis a plus.
