Overview
We're a pharma company seeking an experienced Biologist / Research Associate to join our expanding process development team Must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities The Research Associate will primarily participate in downstream purification of AAV products using AKTA FPLC systems and chromatography (affinity chromatography and ion-exchange chromatography) to support AAV gene therapy program
Perform protein purification using AKTA FPLC system
Make buffers in use with protein purification
Record and document experiments, analyze data and offer conclusions obtained from sample testing
Assist in lab managing tasks like ordering, labeling, and inventory tracking
Requirements BS in Biology or related field
Must have 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
General lab experience (pipetting and buffer making)
AAV experience (preferred)
Protein purification experience (preferred)
Familiarity with online notebooking software Labguru or Benchling (preferred)
