Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following:
Policy development, program oversight/guidance, capabilities development, planning, programming, budgeting, and evaluation of resourcing for Military Intelligence Program and National Intelligence Program requirements.
Directly supports the Senior Advisor, Functional Intelligence & Defense Analysis and serves as the Intelligence Collection Support subject matter expert responsible to facilitate the integration of technical intelligence collection support to Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response programs and activities.
Ensures intelligence collection programs and activities are meeting Department of Defense and Intelligence Community guidelines for suitable acquisition strategy, contracting policy, testing and development procedures and adequate funding levels.
Analyze new or proposed legislation, regulations, and policy to identify, national security implications. program impacts. impacts to management and operations, budgets and future direction of DoD technical intelligence collection and recommends courses of action to senior management.
