RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior SAP FI/CO BSA in Norfolk, FL.Summary:The SAP FI/CO Business Systems Expert is a key member of the Business Applications function of IT with prime responsibility for designing, developing, implementing and controlling SAP S/4 FI/CO module areas and ensuring that all core business requirements in finance and controlling areas are maintained, new local legal/business requirements are efficiently handled, new business needs are proactively supported, and new SAP functionality delivers business benefits. SAP FI/CO Business Systems Expert is a multi-facet hands-on role and reports directly to the ERP Business Applications Director.Key Tasks:
  • The support, maintenance, and enhancement of the FI/CO functionality in SAP (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets Management, Cost Controlling, Profitability Analysis, CC Accounting, PC Accounting, Overhead Orders, Material Ledger)
  • The effective and efficient operation of all SAP FI/CO business processes
  • Proper functioning of all related SAP configuration items and interfaces with external systems
  • Registration, prioritization, resolution, and delivery of solutions following change requests or projects
  • Capturing, analyzing, and validating business requirements related to finance and controlling area
  • System configuration and implementation of solutions in the FI/CO area of SAP. Unit and integration testing; Manage and supervise SAP projects with FI/CO centered scope
  • As a Senior SAP FI/CO BSA, you will actively participate in major SAP initiatives (business analysis, solution design, implementation, and testing activities)
  • Collaborate with all IT members as part of a project team, work group or committee
  • Manage external consultants in delivering final solution to business owners based on agreed requirements


REQUIREMENTS:

  • College or university degree in Finance or Accounting or Computer Science applied to Commercial/Finance area
  • 6+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO configuration in S/4HANA SAP environments
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP New G/L functionality (document splitting, segment reporting, parallel valuation, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience in translating business requirements to technical requirements
  • Proven project management responsibility experience in SAP projects in Finance/Accounting area
  • Proven experience in SAP interfacing with other internal and/or external systems (monitoring, support, and overall maintenance responsibility)
  • Minimum of 3 full cycle implementations of functionality in Finance/Accounting area (ECC and S/4HANA)
  • Excellent understanding of integration points between FI/CO and HR/PS/SD/MM/PP/PM modules in SAP
  • Substantial experience in configuring and supporting SAP CO-PA and Material Ledger
  • Knowledge and experience in writing technical specification for ABAP development
  • Experience in creating validations and substitutions in SAP FI/CO area
  • Proficient knowledge of SAP Data Dictionary in S/4 FI/CO
  • Familiar with Financial/Accounting and Tax practices in USA
  • Good understanding of SAP implementation methodologies
  • Strong communication skills, in writing as well as in presenting to senior leadership members, project stakeholders and business process owners
  • Excellent team worker
  • Previous IT experience in manufacturing industry would be also considered an asset
  • Any exposure/experience in Thomson Reuters tax system in connection to S/4 would give an advantage
Prerequisites:
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  • Candidates will have to relocate to greater Norfolk, VA area
  • This is a hybrid with 4 days on-premise physical presence position (current policy)


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
