What to ExpectWe are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven buyer to support our Equipment Spares team in managing procurement and shipment tracking of critical spare parts. Tesla has a fast-moving, dynamic working environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. An ideal candidate will be greatly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and collaborative. What You’ll Do
  • Work with the Spares Planner and Maintenance team to fully understand the Spares requirements and vendor selections 
  •  Process RFQ, negotiate pricing, place purchase requisite, communicate purchase orders and expected delivery dates to suppliers
  • Keep track of released purchase orders and shipment status, manage logistics, document shipment tracking, and estimated delivery dates. Keep internal stakeholders informed of the latest status and estimated parts arrival dates
  • Constantly follow up with suppliers, escalate and expedite delivery when needed to ensure on-time parts delivery of critical Spares
  • Oversee and coordinate the RMA/repair program  
  • Project coordination as assigned 
  • Keep track of goods receiving and invoicing, maintain sustainable relationships with suppliers
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, MRP knowledge, Replenishment Ordering methodology, etc.)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with suppliers, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics and Engineering
  • Experience and knowledge of manufacturing warehousing and consumption management
  • Flexible mindset to change, create, and/or adapt to new processes
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Must have commnad of English Language, both written and verbal
