General Summary

State Representative Fentrice Driskell is now accepting applications in her Tampa, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature.

The Legislature offers a competitive benefits package. This position is not eligible for remote work.

Primary Responsibilities

-Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature’s Joint Policies and Procedures.
-Constituent Management 
-Day-to-day Operations: Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications
-Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports
-Manage Office Expense Accounts and Travel System
-Required Legislative Filings
-Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District
-Community and Public Outreach
-Mandatory Trainings as Assigned
