Responsibilities

Support up to 4 Relationship Managers (RMs) with client management responsibilities for the portfolio. (Relationship Managers are still primary point of contact for all Key clients) Act as primary contact on behalf of the Relationship Manager to the client for a portion of the portfolio. Conduct client facing responsibilities including annual review meeting, customer service and closing process. Responsible for collection and review of annual financial reporting requirements for the assigned relationships. Work with Credit Department to complete annual reviews, new money requests within assigned portfolio. Actively make recommendations for appropriate risk ratings upon review of financial data. Manages portfolio reports including doc exceptions, maturities, monitored Lines etc. to clear exceptions. Work with bank partners in support of cross sell opportunities as identified through client interactions. Work with Relationship Managers to assist with deal screens and preliminary review of large existing and prospective clients. Work closely with Senior Credit Underwriters to facilitate the analysis and underwriting of complex credits. Responsible for the review of loan documentation and closing process for assigned relationships Work directly with lead Relationship Manager as appropriate and when more expertise is required to support the client. Assist Relationship Manager in credit presentation to Regional Credit Officers and Loan Committee. Periodically accompanies Relationship Manager on calls with top 20 clients to support on going training and development of Portfolio Manager. Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
Qualifications

4 year degree Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field. 4-6+ years of experience in credit analysis, commercial banking and business banking with at least 2 years of specific portfolio management and or underwriting experience. Understanding of loan structuring and loan documentation is required. Knowledge in accounting and lending principles as well as excellent oral and written communications skills. Strong organization skills, High attention to detail. Client facing acumen. Possess multi-tasking skills and function well under pressure. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
