Manager, Maintenance Contracts

Develop and oversee the administration of contracts relating to Fleet Administration services for
the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) from procurement through asset disposal of Authority owned or leased fleet
equipment. Serve as the Authority's Authorized Representative (AAR) for service and supply contracts for fleet vehicles and other assets. Direct contract maintenance activities using service contracts personnel. Provide technical specifications and develop scope for the bidding of new contracts.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree or accredited vocational education program in automotive mechanics and techniques or related field and
five (5) years of experience related to Fleet Vehicle Administration, Maintenance and Operations for a large-scale
organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge of and experience with fleet
maintenance asset management, contracts/agreements and regulatory agencies in an airport setting preferred.
Established understanding of Fleet Vehicle/Fuel System Administration, Maintenance and Operations
• Working knowledge of heavy equipment desirable
• Demonstrated proficiency on all fleet maintenance shop test equipment
• Demonstrated knowledge of rules, regulations and guidelines regarding the safe utilization and operation of fleet
maintenance shop equipment, safety equipment and personal protective devices
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
• Knowledge of Firehouse, FuelMaster, Maximo, Oracle and Veeder-Root preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts and agreements
• Advanced negotiation skills
• Ability to pay attention to detail and meet deadlines; strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and plan projects
• Excellent oral and written/grammar communication and presentation skills
• Able to drive on the AOA, with appropriate clearance/badging
• Demonstrated ability maintain confidential and sensitive information
• Must maintain professionalism and diplomacy at all times while interacting with the public, Aviation Authority
management and employees, tenants, vendors, contractors, airlines, regulatory authorities, etc.
• Must be able, willing and available to work both standard and non-standard work schedules, including weekends,
to accommodate airport operations.
- Valid Florida commercial driver's license “B”
• Air Brakes designation
