IT Project Manager

Fisher's is seeking a fun, communicative, driven, process-oriented, and organized person to fill our IT Project Manager role. This role is responsible for planning and managing IT implementation projects for our clients and executing exceptional communication throughout those projects.

This individual is a well-organized, big-picture taskmaster with a passion for technology and a love for strategy, design, and execution. You'll be interfacing with clients daily, and you'll deliver impactful work within scope, on schedule, and within budget. You will be coordinating heavily with IT Technical Resources and will be responsible for the successful implementation and completion of best in class technology solutions and projects. You will co-create and improve how project management is carried out at Fisher's Technology with best practices and methods of Project Management methodologies in mind. Project management roles require flexibility with hours and travel to meet client needs. You will be joining a team of industry-leading professionals with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, translating technology into business value, and investing and offering leading technologies for every type of business.

Responsibilities:

  • Improving on a standard project management methodology for Fisher's IT (processes and procedures for project initiation, planning, monitoring/controlling, executing, and closing)
  • Manage projects against a scope, schedule, and cost baseline
  • Ensuring that client business requirements are fully understood and communicated and that we are addressing unfilled client needs
  • Assessing and estimating resource and workload requirements to execute IT project implementations
  • Detailed planning of those projects
  • Developing effective stakeholder management plans and execute against them consistently
  • Resource management of appropriate team members from resource teams to work on the projects
  • Managing the projects from start to finish
  • Managing change control
  • Managing project sign-off
  • Maintaining high quality communications with all constituents throughout the life of a project
  • Ensuring others who function as project managers adhere to the same project management methodology
  • Conduct retrospectives to identify lessons learned and document

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • PMI-CAPM, ACP or PMP certification
  • Experience with IT, networking, and computer technology projects is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with ConnectWise is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with EOS/Traction is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
