Job Title: Patient Access Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Access Representative. The successful candidate will work at the registration area to check in patients, register them, update or add their information to the system, and collect patient demographic, insurance cards, and copays. This role requires working early morning shifts starting between 5:30am-8:30am, and working every other weekend.

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience dealing with customers

  • Professional communication

  • Presentable appearance

  • Reliability

  • Computer skills

  • Ability to be trained on internal systems with ease

Nice To Have

  • Experience in patient registration and discharge functions

  • Knowledge of hospital cash reconciliation and secured payment entry

  • Ability to perform scheduling and coordination of post-discharge care
