TPMG is seeking BE/BC Pediatrician (Per Diem) to join our team in Fremont, CA.

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is one of the largest medical groups in the nation with over 9,000 physicians, 22 medical centers, numerous clinics throughout Northern and Central California and a 75-year tradition of providing quality medical care.

Fremont serves an ethnically and socio-economically diverse population with many different languages spoken, including Hindu, Telugu, Tamil, Farsi, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish. We have 18 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners. We have an embedded pediatric therapist, social worker, and lactation consultants to assist in our practices. Our sister sites are at San Leandro and Hayward. Each provider has 2 exam rooms. We are paired one to one with a medical assistant and have a well communicating nursing staff. We have high immunization quality metrics. We do have onsite lab, radiological services and pharmacy and have a local emergency room.

We start our day with daily huddles from 830-845. We utilize pool/per diem positions to help with days where we need more appointment supply. Appointments include seeing urgent and well visits. Visits can be either an office, phone or video visit.

Each physician champions an area of interest. There are leadership and mentoring opportunities in the department. We are associated with UCSF and Drexel Medical school where we precept their students.

Requirements:

Board Certification or EligibilityMust be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA
