As part of the Maintenance team, the successful candidate will complete routine maintenance activities for the purpose of ensuring the availability and safe functioning of large mining, support equipment fleets.

Responsibilities:

Daily fuel bay and wash bay duties to include fueling and light mechanical servicing of equipment
Washing equipment in preparation for PM work that requires focus on safety Work management, equipment reliability, maintenance cost, performance management, and promoting a team environment between mobile maintenance and other work groups Maintaining personal hand tools for functionality and cleanliness Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in all work areas to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors, and vendors Establishing work relationships necessary to efficiently execute the daily maintenance activities through his/her assigned zone Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
 Basic mechanic aptitude preferred Previous experience in an underground mining environment preferred Ability to operate various types of moving equipment preferred Basic computer skills required Proven strong record of work safety as well as work attendance required Ability to perform the essential function of the position required The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
