Under direction from the CMO, provides patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting by diagnosing and treating disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system, perform patient exams and order or conduct diagnostic testing, develop ongoing treatment and disease-management plans. This role will also prescribe medicine and coordinate referrals as necessary, conduct early-detection screenings and maintain accurate patient records and charts. Effective communication with patients, physicians, staff, and administration is crucial.

Position details:

This role will be joining a group of 3 physicians and 3 Nurse PractitionersVolumes: Average of 15 outpatient cases on full Endoscopy days and 8 Outpatient cases on half daysWork week: 5/8 hr days with an average of 2 full endoscopy days, 3 half endoscopy days and 3 half office daysCall: Call will be shared each month between 3 full time physicians.

Qualifications:

MD or DO degreeSuccessful completion of residency programBoard Certified/ Eligible Internal Medicine/GastroenterologyRequires ERCP and EUS
