About the Role:

This position requires the collection of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual Maintenance planning with prioritization and direct scheduling to support execution of required tasks to meet KPI goals and achieve desired performance. Leads collaboration between RDMs, RMTs, & Line Managers to streamline all planned maintenance interventions, trainings, and group shutdown activities. Supervises work activity as required with hourly maintenance teams and contractors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the strategic planning and scheduling for Maintenance focusing on preventative and predictive 
  • Collaborate with Production and Maintenance for intervention timing, planned events, resource availability, and execution requirements
  • Indicate resource availability and needs
  • Direct and assign execution of tasks
  • Manage scheduling of tuning, routines, contingency plan, while prioritizing urgencies
  • Manage vacation scheduling for teams and contractor site schedules
  • Support in communication of maintenance best practices
  • Define, manage, and execute traning plans
  • Owns salaried development Skills Matrix
  • Responsible for scheduled compliance KPIs
  • Analyzes workorder deviations and backlog
Who we are looking for:
  • Minimum degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or Technical Study
  • (5) to ten (10) years of relevant industry experience, specifically Maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical background in Plant Maintenance, Ops, or Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with coordinating activities across cross-functional areas
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proven hands-on problem solving and project management skills
  • Strong understanding of equipment design and function
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and other relevant food safety and environment regulations is an asset
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to make suggestions and implement improvements
  • Knowledge and experience with Lean Management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Knowledge of SAP (expert level or trainer)
