What you will be doing

You will lead and oversee PMI's organization-wide legal policy compliance and risk management involving global legal regulatory requirements for development and implementation of practices and policies to ensure continued organization and stakeholder compliance with relevant global legal requirements.

You will develop and enforce needed regulations in all aspects and levels of business as required, and provide leadership and guidance on compliance matters. As well as Implementing compliance governance and best practices. Lead legal team members supporting the successful development and implementation of products, programs, and projects.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Bachelor's in business, law, or related area. Advanced degree or Juris Doctor degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate compliance role; experience in global organization beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically, including success in identifying relevant concepts and approaches to meet organization needs, while also being able to develop and execute detailed plans, collect, and interpret large quantities of information, and prepare concise summaries of key findings.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff, global customers, volunteers, and external organizations with a track record of positive long-term outcome-based relationships. Effective meeting facilitation.
  • Strong experience writing, implementing, and enforcing company policy and procedures
  • Ability to successfully negotiate agreements for services or relationships that benefit or align with an organization's objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organization topics and issues
  • Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to negotiate toward outcomes that benefit the host organization
  • Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)
