Summary:
Directs and coordinates the daily operation of our Logistics and General Freight services to increase productivity and maximize profitability.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Responsible for all LOG/GFO personnel including hiring, performance reviews, and termination Manage, supervise, and mentor personnel daily to ensure policy adherence Develop processes to increase revenue and cost control Implement safety education and conduct investigations Promote positive relationships with clients, vendors, and agents Understand CBP regulations for bonded storage facilities Create and maintain record-keeping and financial tracking systems Collaborate with Executives on strategic goals Execute/delegate projects as assigned REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's in Science/Administration and 5 years of Management experience; or 10 years of Management experienceExperience/Skills/Knowledge:
Strong understanding of risk and safety management Excellent leadership, communication, and delegation skills Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and other software applications Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills CPR and First Aid Certified, Valid Driver's License PREFERRED
