The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is recruiting a full-time Clinical Research Professional.

Essential Functions
-Screen patients for inclusion in study-based pre-determined criteria.
-Contact and approach potential patients for study participation.
-In conjunction with investigator and senior CRP, document and evaluate adverse events and response to treatment.
-Assist the Senior CRP with study-related activities.
-Perform routine physical/clinical/procedures.
-Maintain the American Thrombosis & Hemostasis Network (ATHN) Dataset – primarily responsible for entering patient data for all individuals with clotting and bleeding disorders seen in the clinic throughout the year.
-Ensure compliance with contract principles, federal regulations, laws, and the University of Cincinnati/UC Physicians Company, policy and operating procedures.
-Liaison with medical staff, university departments, ancillary departments, satellite facilities, IRB, and industry contacts.

Required Education
-Bachelor’s Degree must be in a related field.
-Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

One (1) year of related experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered
-Master's Degree.
-Experience in an academic or clinical setting in the area of clinical specialization.
