Job Summary

The Digital Print Lead will operate equipment and assist in supervision and direction to department staff as needed. Function as a technical expert who supervises the daily operations in the department and addresses issues as they pertain to troubleshooting, quality control, production scheduling, training, equipment maintenance and general daily supervision of your department, including operating equipment.

What You'll Do...

  • Operate production equipment which includes printing, transferring, lamination, digital cutting, seaming and sewing.
  • Daily maintenance and operation of printers.
  • Update schedule as work is being produced and moved to the next departments.
  • Direct operators and production when Production Lead is not available.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
  • Recommend action items for repairs.
  • Verify substrate is as outlined in job packet.
  • Maintain clean working environment.
  • Practice safe working habits as trained.
  • Secure help if items to be lifted or carried exceed weights given in the physical requirements section of this job description.
  • Enter recommendations to management for improvements in areas such as personal safety, quality improvements, better rates and yields, or any other matters that impact shop cost or employee's health and safety.
  • Do other tasks as assigned.

What You'll Bring...

  • Familiarity with Digital Graphics and Software related to Digital Graphics.
  • High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Must meet physical requirements as noted in this Job Description.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
