Responsibilities:

  • Vendor/PO management: Coordinate with Product manager(s) and vendors to manage Purchase Order lifecycle. It includes creation, checking, tracking production from vendors, updating, and receiving of purchase orders. Assist in setting up new vendors.
  • Shipment Management, tracking & Planning: Track shipping containers, coordinate with warehouse and carriers for timely and accurate receiving process. Assist with shipment costing, coordination with carriers and vendors as needed for facilitating shipments.
  • Product setup, Product inspections, Inventory reconciliation & Claim Management: Inspection of incoming products for labelling, packaging and other specifications as required. Reconcile inventory with receiving reports & Purchase orders. Document any claims/deductions. Setup new products in ERP as needed.
  • Order Entry & Document Management: Organize and maintain general office files for Purchasing department. Enter data into system effectively and accurately for job related duties.
  • Assist office with general office support tasks and provide overall administrative support.

Requirements:          

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 10-key and data entry skills
  • Prioritize important tasks and follow up effectively
  • Strong work ethic
  • Superior communication skills - written and verbal
  • Detail-orientated and organized with the ability to work independently to meet demanding deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent math aptitude
  • Solid computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
