Position Overview:We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Event Intern to assist with the planning and execution of events. This role is ideal for a current OU undergraduate or graduate student, with former athletes being an added bonus. The Event Intern will support various aspects of event operations, including planning, setup, breakdown, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, ensuring all details align with the overall vision and objectives.
  • Support event setup and breakdown, including coordinating logistics and managing equipment and supplies.
  • Interact with OU staff and other stakeholders to coordinate event logistics and ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist in managing event timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution.
  • Contribute to post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes.

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled as a graduate or undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Former athlete experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for sports and an understanding of the OU community is a plus.
