Position Description:
Associate Director, Consumer Analytics, Lilly Brand - is responsible for implementing the effective and efficient deployment of information, and resources in support of Consumer Brands/Functions and the Commercial Consumer Analytics team as Lilly transforms its consumer marketing organization to leverage data to create more efficient and effective experiences. The Associate Director accomplishes this by leading & developing key business processes including execution of Brand/Business Unit analytic needs, analytic sourcing and vendor management. They will develop a deep understanding of various US Consumer and Corporate data sources and create processes to analyze and communicate key outputs to decision-makers. They are expected to be a catalyst to the integration and coordination of analytics and data throughout Lilly USA, with a primary focus on key Lilly Brand Initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Manage day to day measurement efforts across Lilly properties including Global Brand and Lilly Direct.
Develop analytical frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to solve complex organizational business problems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, Corporate Communications, Global Brand, Media, Market Research, Lilly Direct, Social Listening, Engineering, Operations, and agency partners.
Oversee the development of BI dashboards to provide an intuitive analytics tool that consolidates key performance metrics across Lilly initiatives
Ensure data and insights are leveraged by cross functional partners and teams in decision making to continue to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Deep dive into projects as they progress (understanding how the work was done and implications for the business on how to use the analyses), provide linkages to other analytics projects to ensure consistency, consult on developing the story, present the findings and advise/recommend changes to execution tactics
Assess and identify new data/sources and capabilities in partnership with media, corporate comms, market research, social listening, agency and other partners to enhance behavioral insights for consumer data
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to stay at the forefront of measurement solutions and AI developments
Ensure compliance with all privacy and contractual obligations related to the use of data
Deliver segmentation to brands and media team based on behavioral data. Integrate with agency targeting as appropriate to drive efficiency

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
8+ years' Consumer Media, Finance, Business Operations, or other Analytics experience
Additional Preferences:
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and challenge individuals from executive to associate levels and with highly diverse roles/responsibilities in the organization
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Understanding of media agency operations, public relations, earned media and market research to drive stronger optimization and integration approaches with partners
Strong analytical skills coupled with eye for business, and an ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment
Excellent communication (written & verbal), interpersonal influencing skills and prioritization skills with attention to detail
High level of motivation and a strong desire to find creative solutions to challenging problems
MBA (or equivalent experience)
Experience with 1st & 3rd party data sources including: DMP, DSP, Google Analytics, Facebook, log files, etc.
Experience with Statistical Modeling Techniques
Experience with PowerBI or other data visualization toolsAdditional Information:
