Description

The Players Club Representative identifies and engages casino guests without player’s club cards and shares the benefits of membership and signing up new members. Starting wage is $20.96/hr increasing to $21.52/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period.

This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. One year of customer service or public relations experience required. Gaming or hospitality experience preferred. Additional education or related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of the position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Identifies and initiates relationships with potential club members. Assists players through the membership process. Maintains thorough knowledge of player’s club amenities and current promotions. Assists with casino promotions, contests, special events, and tournaments. Resolves customer issues and complaints, escalating as necessary. Maintains working knowledge of all casino facilities and activities. Ensures accurate member information is maintained in the Player’s Club database. Provides a positive, superior guest service experience. Performs other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):

Knowledge of: casino operations, policies, and procedures; Tribal-State Compact requirements; internal controls; department policies and procedures; and player’s club functions and amenities. Skills in: use and operation of a personal computer and related software programs; marketing database CRM; promotions software; accurate data entry; and customer service, networking, and public relations. Ability to: maintain accurate records; professionally greet guests; respond to inquiries; communicate effectively verbally and in writing; provide superior customer service; understand and execute verbal and written direction; remain calm and diplomatic during contentious situations; and maintain high level of confidentiality.

Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays

Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA gaming license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
