  • The Medical Office Assistant will be responsible for managing phones, scheduling and confirmng appointments, checking patients in upon arrival

  • Sorting and preparing billing slips for data entry.
  • Entering data into the Practice Management System (Epic) ensuring information is entered accurately and timely.
  • Verifying patient insurance and completion of registration process.
  • Scanning documents into the electronic medical record.
  • Conducting charge capture reconciliations.
  • Review and respond to patient billing inquiries regarding billing concerns.
  • Working knowledge of the insurance industry.
  • Other clerical duties as assigned.

Required:

  • High School Diploma required
