Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
  • Development of technical solutions using standard engineering/scientific methods on assignments of limited scope and complexity, usually minor phases of broader assignments.
  • Preparation of more complex plans, designs, tables, etc., including non-routine calculations.
  • Presentation of results.
  • Preparation of data summaries and interpretation of data for review.
  • Preparation of initial drafts of correspondence, reports, work plans, specifications, etc. for internal and/or external (client) review.
  • Coordination and implementation of field work with some supervision.
  • Field implementation of work plans with limited supervision.
  • Proposing field problems/work changes for review.
  • Preparation of draft budget cost tables from information provided by others and own investigations for review.
  • Larger task specific management under supervision and direction of supervisor or project manager/director.
  • Attendance at key project and/or client meetings.
What you will bring to the team:
  • 4-year Bachelor of Applied Science (Engineering, Geology, or Science) degree
  • 0-2 years' experience
  • Detail oriented with the ability to balance a diverse and changing workload
  • Critical thinking and problem solving - ability to identify multiple solutions to a problem
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, hardworking, and have strong written and technical skills
  • OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus
