Treasury Analyst

This role will be responsible for key Treasury functions and be an integral player on the team. These include security administration for the banking platforms, maintaining private placement securities, overseeing the Retained Asset program, and assisting in the cash management activities and the refinement of cashflow projections.  The incumbent will also complete the daily processing of deposits, cash accounting entries, and account reconciliations in compliance with policies and guidelines. The incumbent will also independently complete other initiatives aligned with Treasury’s current goals and objectives.  This position reports to the Director, Treasury Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Treasury Analyst tasks and initiatives.Administer security access for Treasury’s various banking platforms.Oversee and report on the Retained Asset program to identify growth opportunities.Maintain private placement securities by promptly filing new securities, returning paid off securities, and ensuring accurate records.Assist with the daily processing, review, and release of wires.Address questions concerning outgoing ACHs/wires and incoming payments.Assist in cash management activities and the improvement of cashflow projections.Collaborate with team members to assess processes and identify areas of improvement; independently perform initiatives aligned with Treasury’s current goals and objectives.Deliver key management reporting with analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis.Complete monthly bank fee analysis and provide recommendations to management for improvements and cost savings.Complete specified daily deposit, cash accounting, and account reconciliationsProcess incoming cash equivalents; prepare bi-weekly report for ComplianceUpload agent web payments into Lawson and OnBaseComplete daily deposits by reconciling bank statements and uploading deposits into Lawson (ledger); collaborate with Accounts Payable and Document Management Systems to resolve discrepancies and missing data.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred2+ years in banking or finance requiredProficient with MS Office tools, especially ExcelHigh level of attention to detailStrong analytical skillsDemonstrated ability to foster good working relationships with internal and external partiesStrong organizational skillsAbility to handle competing demands in a fast-paced environmentInquisitive mindset with a willingness to independently seek out knowledge, ask relevant questions and clearly formulate opinions Strong oral and written communication skillsThe base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience.
