Title: Clinical Affiliate Associate

POSITION SUMMARY
To provide administrative coordination of the College’s healthcare professions clinical program for students, faculty, program directors, dean and affiliate partners.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor clinical affiliation participation requirements and coordinate participation needs with program directors. Maintain and update database of faculty and student requirements as outlined in clinical affiliation agreements. Confirm student placements, as directed by each program, in clinical sites. Ensure that all clinical affiliation agreements are kept current. In collaboration with the dean and program directors, ensure student applications are processed effectively and efficiently. In collaboration with program directors, ensure that student onboarding for all programs is complete and students and faculty files are accurate.

Maintain department databases and orient students to recordkeeping databases. Organize student events, such as annual CPR trainings and pinning ceremonies. Provide basic IT support for exams as needed, such as assistance with logging in to test platforms. Maintain a schedule of equipment inventory, purchasing, set-up, maintenance and repair for all healthcare professions programs. Monitor SimMan, or other instructional mannequins, for malfunctions and contact vendor for support, programming or troubleshooting advice. Schedule sharps waste disposal and other related services for programs. Coordinate other technical activities with the Technology Services Division as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or educational equivalent

Prior experience in an office setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree

CompTIA A+ Certification

Prior experience in healthcare environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Ability to analyze data related to enrollment and students’ clinical experience. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, stay organized and be detail oriented. Ability to innovate and initiate continuous improvement processes for programs within the department. Ability to remain flexible and effective in unanticipated situations and/or under changing conditions. Ability to work independently and make decisions within the scope of the role. Willingness to learn and expand technical skills to support routine troubleshooting and maintenance of instructional equipment.

Rate of Pay: $36,465 to $43,758, depending on experience
