Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Air Base Air Defense (ABAD) Sensor Project Engineer to join our team In this role you will plan, coordinate, and oversee all stages of installing active and passive Radio Frequency (RF), Electro/Optical, and other ABAD sensor capabilities across the US Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) Area of Operations. This position is located in Ramstein AFB, Germany (International Assignment) NO REMOTE WORK
What You'll Be Doing:
Represent the sensor installation and fielding perspective within the multi-disciplinary ABAD engineering and prototyping team
Plan, coordinate, track, and report status of all active & passive ABAD sensor installation/fielding
Plan, coordinate, execute pre-installation site surveys for all ABAD active & passive sensor systems
Coordinate with USAFE and host nation spectrum management, civil engineering, and local construction providers (as required)
Plan, coordinate, and execute sensor site activation
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree Engineering (or related field)
Prior project/program management experience in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Ability to develop, coordinate, track, and report status of multiple complex projects executing simultaneously
Experience understanding & applying DoD security classification, spectrum management, and sensor specific installation requirements
Experience understanding & applying electrical, network, and physical integration requirements
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Active DoD Secret Clearance is required
Ability to lift >25lbs and work at heights above 10ft is likely
Frequent travel within Europe is likely (25%)
This position is located in Ramstein AFB, Germany (International Assignment) NO REMOTE WORK
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Prior experience with DoD spectrum management, network integration, and/or physical system installation/activation
Prior experience with installation, operation, or maintenance of RF and electro optical sensor systems
MS Project (or equivalent) project management software tools
TS/SCI or ability to obtain desired (not required to start)
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Secret
