Job Description

Primary Function of Position The MSRB (Manufacturing Site Review Board) Program Manager reports to the Sr. Industrial Engineering Manager overseeing MSRB and Global Space Planning and is responsible for managing the portfolio of manufacturing or warehousing related site/line projects and taking action to support business achievement of key priorities. This person’s main responsibilities include establishing and creating portfolio network plans, ensuring interproject dependencies are identified and maintained for existing and incoming projects to the portfolio, and that the project portfolio impact classifications are correct. The MSRB Program Manager will also manage site registration by geography in close collaboration with the Global Regulatory Affairs team. The MSRB Program Manager will also support related initiatives within Global Space Planning, particularly with space planning standardization initiatives, model maintenance, and scrutiny.

This person requires proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management experience. As a Program Manager, working amongst many project managers and a large group of stakeholders to support achievement of significant business priorities, a key aspect of success in this role involves the ability to resolve conflicts and build and maintain proven relationships.

Essential Job Duties

  • Perform project assurance activities for projects on MSRB portfolio network plans, or as assigned, to identify and support risk mitigation and issue resolution (30%)
  • Create the portfolio network plans, ensuring correct interproject dependencies are identified and reflected, and project portfolio impact classifications are correct (15%)
  • Support or may facilitate after action reviews (AAR) with project managers and teams to capture lessons learned and best practices, feeding this back into MSRB processes, tools, and templates (10%)
  • Manage site registrations by geography in close collaboration with the Global Regulatory Affairs team (10%)
  • Support continuous improvement the MSRB processes and project management tools, manage metrics (10%)
  • Support space model maintenance, drive space planning standardization initiatives, and assist with data analysis (10%)
  • Facilitate MSRB-related trainings as needed (5%)
  • Facilitate the portfolio network reviews in the monthly MSRB forum, ensuring alignment on the project dependencies and impact to the network (5%)
