About the role/team:
As the Manager of the Platforms and Tools Support Operations team at Worldpay, your skills will be put to the test on the front lines of cyber-crime. Information security is at the heart of fintech and you'll help protect and secure highly-sensitive financial data for customers around the world. You will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security incidents. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an Support Operations leader, demonstrating the ability to lead and coordinate support efforts effectively.
What you'll own:
Lead team of support specialists who will be responsible for maintaining various cyber-owned platforms for Worldpay.
Work with Engineering to ensure that operational visibility is available for all cyber-owned applications and any new solutions are sustainably supportable.
Drive efforts to provide reporting and metrics that will be used to guide continuous improvement of tools and environment.
Create and document processes that team members will use to handle technology incidents, tickets and problems.
Establish culture of urgency among team, build sense of community among peer and external teams.
Lead team in effort to create foundational documentation for all tools within Cyber environment.
Provide technical guidance to team, establish culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and management, to ensure a cohesive and coordinated response to security incidents. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Organizational Change: Drive cultural and operational changes within the organization to foster a proactive approach to incident response and cybersecurity awareness.
* Program Strategy: Develop and execute a multi-year technology support strategy that incorporates key elements such as staff growth, technology maturity and needs of dependent teams.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Experience in a team lead or manager role highly desired.
Typically requires five or more years of experience with:
Leading geographically disparate and remote teams in various technology disciplines
Leading the following technology disciplines: Endpoint Security, Data Security, Database Encryption, Network Security, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, Cloud Security
Agile methodology including using common tools such as Jira, structing Program Increments, managing sprints and backlogs, tracking resource usage
ITIL fundamentals such as ticket management, technology incident management, major incident management, change management, etc.
Proficiency in time management, communications, decision making, presentation and organizational skills
Proficiency in planning, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, priorities and schedules
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills plus verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and/or clients
Proven leadership skills including team planning, mentoring, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, and setting priorities
