They are based in Belleville, NJ. Our client operates a 10,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned precision machine shop specializing in production CNC milling and turning. Their goal is to meet or exceed their customers’ expectations the first time and every time. As a result, most of their customer relationships span years or even decades.

They have worked with various plastics, nickel-bearing alloys, ferrous and non-ferrous metals across multiple industries such as aerospace, chemical, medical, water processing, lighting, and custom architectural hardware. Their equipment includes:

CNC Vertical Mills Haas/Brother + 4th/5th axisMazak Lathes w/ Bar FeedersMastercam CAD/CAMStandard grinding, finishing, saw, and manual machining equipment.

Your Role:

As a full-time Parts Finisher, you will perform sanding, polishing, deburring, and other finish applications in a machine shop. Your work hours will be 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good hand skills, and we maintain high-quality standards while doing repetitive tasks.

To thrive, you should have:

Prior experience in parts finishingGood hand skillsAbility to identify acceptable finishesPrior Manufacturing/Technical ExperienceAbility to lift 50lbs on a regular basis

Your responsibilities as the Parts Finishing – Metalworking will include:

Performing various sanding, deburring, and parts finishing operationsWork well in a teamMaintain an organized, clean, and *SAFE* work environment for themselves and others.Perform first article and in-process inspections.Be independent and take corrective/preventative actions to produce good parts.
