The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for the accurate shipping and receiving of material daily along with occasional supervision of the production process as needed

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all stock assets requested are issued correctly and in a timely manner.

  • Manages the inventory control and validation of stocked assets and operating supplies, ensuring that they are ordered, inventoried, stored, maintained, identified, and issued

  • Accurately identify all incoming material against delivery receipts on a timely basis

  • Accurately enter and receive all material into the computerized inventory system

  • Place material into appropriate areas after identified and entered

  • Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in material locations

  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing material as needed

  • Ensure accurate and complete shipment of all outgoing material

  • Coordinate a shipping schedule with all applicable personnel

  • Follow all policies regarding the production of a quality product

  • Other duties as assigned or needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Skilled in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects

  • Knowledge of storeroom policies and practices, especially pertaining to receiving policies and practices

  • Ability to maintain accurate records

  • Ability to follow oral and written communication

  • Ability to climb ladders or steps to reach objects

  • Ability to endure physical and outdoor work on a daily basis.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Must be able to work in an environment where routinely exposed to dust, dirt, vibrations, extreme climate and changes in weather.

  • Operate material handling equipment
