Job Description

KIPP has 2 kinds of substitutes - Long-Term Substitutes and Daily Substitutes.
All of the daily core responsibilities are the same Long-Term Substitutes are in the same classroom every day for several months and are usually covering a leave. Their daily hours 7:30am - 3:30pm (M, Th, F) and 7:30am - 5pm (T & W) Daily Substitutes are in different classrooms, nothing is guaranteed, and only called in, if needed. Their daily hours are 7:30am - 3:30pm, unless otherwise noted by the Principal.Your responsibilities as a Substitute
KIPP Daily Substitutes are called on an as-needed basis and have no guaranteed hours. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Curriculum and Instruction
Execute provided lesson plans Collect student work and provide feedback, if necessary Ensure all agendas, objectives, and homework are displayed accurately for the classHelp Build a Positive School and Classroom Culture
Embody and maintain school’s values, policies and culture Develop positive relationships with students, families, teachers and staffDemonstrate a Growth Mindset
Give and receive positive and constructive feedback with your colleaguesQualifications:

Compensation
